Exploring Events: Art and Appetite

Art and Appetite is an event hosted and organized by a student organization from La Salle. It is a feast for the senses and did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this event unexpectedly after our trip to the Mind Museum.

It was held in BGC, High Street. It was pretty full when we got there. The left side was full of snacks and food while the right with art and trinkets.

Some of the ones that caught my eye were the Elotes (corn on the cob with a Mexican twist) from El Jefe, Cookies from Chip Off the Block, an Iron Throne (Game of Thrones) cake, weird chocolate flavors (adobo chocolate, cheese chocolate, turon chocolate, etc.) and the cotton candy animals everyone has been talking about in events.

There were so many kinds and styles of art in one place that it was impossible to be disappointed. I passed by a booth where they gave me a free folio full of beautiful poetry and art. It’s hard not to feel jealous when you see talent like this. Really glad I found this event today. Support local art! 😌
