Fat Daddy’s is definitely a family favorite. We own a Vietnamese coffee shop and restaurant and the food we serve and usually have are mostly very healthy so it’s nice to pig out once in a while and Fat Daddy’s is the perfect place!
Let’s start with our usual appetizer, if you can consider this as an appetizer. We always order this first to have something to munch on while we choose what to order from Fat Daddy’s menu. The nachos chips are flavored and topped with cheese, ranch and barbecue sauce. Now there is meat in probably every single menu item so of course this dish is no different with pulled pork and bacon on top. Yumm! Honestly, this is such a heavy meal and is good for 5-8 people.
This is one of my personal favorites, mainly because I loooove mashed potato. This dish is a simple hot plate of mashed potato drizzled generously with cheese, barbecue sauce and topped with pulled pork and bacon.
This is my brother’s personal favorite and his go-to order. For anyone wanting a safe choice from Fat Daddy’s exotic and overly meaty menu. A simple burger with two patties, veggies and served with crisp mojos.
This is another favorite of mine. Perfect if you’re craving for something sweet and savory. It’s basically a juicy slab of barbecue pork chop topped with a special apple jam with bits of bacon. Definitely something I haven’t tasted anywhere else and is always a nice surprise with every bite.
I highly recommend you try the Smokey Maple Bacon Milkshake. You will not regret it. In the words of my brother, “it’s like breakfast in a cup”. I was a bit hesitant to try it at first but my taste buds did a little dance when I finally did. It tastes like pancakes with maple syrup and bacon bits in a milky drink. The whipped cream topped with maple syrup is absolutely delightful and that’s saying something because I usually do not like whipped cream. And of course, the candied bacon. It’s a nice spoon to use to scoop up the leftover milkshake in the hard to reach corners of the jar.
